The mission of FBLA-PBL is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.  FBLA-PBL helps to bridge the gap between the classroom and the business world by giving them an opportunity to learn firsthand about the business community.

Who is FBLA-PBL?

FBLA-PBL involves nearly 300,000 active members in 12,000 chartered chapters all over America.  All local chapters operate under the supervision of a state chapter, and all function within the frame work of the national organization.

What are the goals of FBLA-PBL?

The specific goals to PBL are

  1. To develop competent, aggressive business leadership

  2. To strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work

  3. To create more interest in and understanding of American business enterprise

  4. To encourage members in the development of individual projects which contribute to the improvement of home, business, and community

  5. To develop character, prepare for useful citizenship, and foster patriotism

  6. To encourage and practice efficient money management

  7. To encourage scholarship and  promote school loyalty

  8. To assist students in the  establishment of occupational goals

  9. To facilitate the transition from school to work
